All our ale is brewed by us in our brewery at the back of the pub, Crossed Anchors Brewing has been on-site for 5 years and has won numerous awards for the quality of our beer.
Brewed to 4.2% abv this is a classic APA, clean, crisp and full of flavour. It is our best selling ale! Brewed with Devon Malt and 6 different hops.
Brewed to 4% abv our classic best bitter, full of delicious Devon malt with English hops. A real fresh tasting amber coloured beer of a more traditional beer style.
Brewed to 4.7% abv this dark porter is full of wintery sweetness and also very moreish!
Brewed to 5.2% abv. A strong, bright, red malty ale, made with Maris Otter, Rye Malt, Crystal Malt, Wheat Malt and true blend of Devon Malt and English hops.
Brewed to 3.8% abv. This is a bright straw coloured session IPA, easy drinking and bursting with fresh hoppiness.

All our keg beers are brewed, conditioned and racked by us in our brewery in Exmouth, We make our own lagers, pilsners, IPAs and as many beer styles as we can. Enjoy beer lovers!!
Brewed to 4%, this lager is one of our best sellers.Bright clean and easy drinking you’ll often catch the brewing team having a few of these.
Brewed to 5.7% abv. The brain child of this, our brewer Milky! This super swampy milkshake IPA is tropical, sweet and great drinking.
Brewed to 6.4% abv. A delicious stout brewed with the molasses from spiced rum production. Full bodied and full of flavour.
Brewed to 4.7% abv this is the keg version of the ale. Kegging this beer has made it fresher tasting and the hops profile comes up more, it is also hazy and un-fined.
Brewed to 5.1% abv. A smooth Devon pilsner brewed with the finest Devon Malts and delicately blended to bring out the best of Pilsners.
Brewed to 5.9% abv. A classic IPA clean, fresh drinking that finishes with a hoppy burst. One of our most popular beers, get it while you can as stocks are short.

Guest Keg beers
We offer a wide and varied selection of guest beers.
Brewed to 4.5% abv. A super refreshing and smooth 4.5% Pale, Celestial Equator uses a considerable supply of Ekuanot and Citra for a bright floral aroma alongside an elegant citrus flavour.
Brewed to 4.5% abv. West Coast Pale Ale packed with citrus and fruity hops. Amber in colour with a gentle haze. Satisfying, balance bitterness that keeps you coming back for more!
Brewed to 5% abv. One of greatest Czech beers you can get. Surely the finest example of traditional lager brewing in the world.
The Classic Irish Stout.
We sell a selection of keg and bag in box ciders. These ciders are picked from Devon and the South west cider makers.
4.5% abv. This lovely appley cider from Winkleigh is fantastic. A local family of cider makers steeped in the finest traditions of Devon cider have this classic hazy cider.
4.5% abv. Our Sam’s Crisp Cider is made from a combination of our finest Sam’s Cider which is fresh and sharply cleansing to the palate.
7.2% abv. It is well balanced on the palate and releases a wonderful appley aroma. Autumn Scrumpy is made from specially selected apples that have been sourced from our local growers to make a premium quality Scrumpy. It is well balanced on the palate and releases a wonderful appley aroma.
4.5% abv. Sandford Orchards classic Devon cider.

We use our Sam’s Crisp cider, which is a fresh and cleansing drink which we heat up and serve with a slice of orange.
175ml of red wine, warmed and served with a slice of orange.
Super hot chocolate with your choice of brandy or baileys, whipped cream and marshmallows.
Double Gordons Pink Gin with your choice of tonic lemonade over ice with fresh berries.
Made locally this fantastic gin is always best drunk in a double, served with tonic and a slice of orange.

Germany is famous for some wonderful beer styles including Wheat beer, Kolsch, Pilsners, Dunkel, Rauchbiers and many other styles.
Brewed to 5.1% abv. Bamberg’s speciality, a dark, bottom fermented smoked beer, brewed with Original Schlenkerla Smokemalt from the Schlenkerla maltings.
Brewed to 6.7% abv. A rich, dark elixir with cascading layers of malt complexity balanced by elegant hops. Notes of toffee, caramel, elegant dark-malt roastiness, and pure malt. Pinpoint conditioning and semi-dry finish.
Brewed to 5.5% abv. The No. 1 Hefe-Weißbier in Germany and one of the world’s favourites. Naturally cloudy and shining silky gold in the glass under a really strong head of foam.
Brewed to 5.3% abv. Weissbier Dunkel is a muscular beer, unfiltered, strong, and nutty. At the same time, smooth and soft to the taste.
Brewed to 5.6% abv. A mid-strength wheat beer, light and refreshing with plenty of haze with a yellow gold appearance.

This super pale and light beer is one of the best examples of pale beers made in Belgium. Brewed to 8.5% abv it is clean, dry and crisp.
A fantastic pale beer, strong and bright. Super fine bubbles make a thick creamy head and an unrivalled clean crisp taste. Brewed to 8.5% abv.
The last authentic triple brewed in Bruges. Brewed to 9% abv and full of flavour of malt and hops.
A light and bright and deliciously Peach in flavour this beer is from one of the finest breweries in Belgium. Brewed at 2.5% abv.
Brewed 3.5% abv. A slightly sweet cherry lambic beer made in the traditional Belgian style. An easy drinking but intense with a refreshing tart finish.
A delicious ale full of fruitiness still brewed within the walls of the Abbey. A gentle bitterness and easy finish this is a classic rustic beer. Brewed at 6.2%.
A rich dark and bitter ale full bodied and caramelly. Brewed in at 11.3% abv this has a warming mouthfeel with a nutty bitter finish.
A citrus and spicy finish on this cool medium dry triple. Brewed to 8.1% abv, this beer is light and golden with great honey flavours.
A Flanders, red ale from Vichte in Belgium this beer is malty and easy drinking but also complex with a citrus nose. Brewed to 6.2% abv.
A classic Triple, fully golden and light with an alcohol punch at 9.5% abv. A true classic Abbey beer and the benchmark of the style.
A dark beer of distinction and taste, full bodied and malty with a lasting bitterness. Often these beers of this style are stronger than this but at 7% it still packs a punch.
Brewed to 8.4% abv. Discover a very mellow, fruity attack, a nougat-like solidity, and a slightly spicy character with hints of liquorice passing into a warm finish that reminds you of caramelised banana.
Brewed to 7.5%. This is a strong Belgian ale, delicious blonde beer with a spicy and citrusy notes and a real fizz on the tongue
